All credit to NoobsRus's blog post for this info. I rewrote their guide for readability and consolidation, but all info and screenshots come from them. Even with the rewrite, there is more info on their post if you need it.

Requirements:

Guide

You'll need this key to hunt Varlok. Different rooms in the Desire Cavern correspond to differrent elements. You'll need to hunt one area at a time and you can do them in any order. The amount of seals you need is:

• First room: 10 seals

• Second room: 100 seals

• Third room: 200 seals

• Fourth room: 500 seals

1. Each area in the Desire Cavern has a Dimension Door for each element. Interact with the door and choose to "Remove the portruding part". You'll get a key called "Pass of [element]". With that key, the door will take you to the relevant elemental zone.

2. Hunt however many seals you need for that element then head back to the door and interact with it to get "[Element] Commander".

3. Repeat for each element.

4. Once you have all 4 commanders, head to Temple of Shadows 1F and have the consule teleport you to the laboratory. Find Yahee walking around. Speak with him for the Ruler of Elements, which is the Desire Cavern Key.
